On Tuesday, 17 March, a professional training event for Dejmark partners and customers took place at Wellness Hotel Chopok. Professionals from both Slovakia and the Czech Republic gathered for the occasion. Attendance exceeded expectations, with 160 participants taking part.

From the very beginning, the program was designed with a practical focus. Participants had the opportunity to test products firsthand, try different application techniques, and compare the results achieved using various materials and tools.

New Products Worth Attention
One of the highlights of the event was the presentation of new products from Tikkurila, especially the interior paint Optiva Clean Air. The product responds to the growing demand for healthier indoor environments and higher indoor air quality standards. It helps reduce formaldehyde levels – a carcinogenic substance that may be released from common household items such as carpets, furniture, and other interior materials.
The program also included the introduction of Bekament coatings. Products such as BK-Pol, BK-Pol Protect, BK-Gold, BK-Gips Kolor, BK-Delux, and BK-Crystal expand Dejmark’s portfolio with new solutions for interior wall and ceiling coatings.
Participants were able to test the products in real-life applications together with Anza painting tools. The demonstrations clearly showed that the right combination of a high-quality coating and suitable tools has a significant impact on the final result.

International Industry Experts
We were also delighted to welcome Dejan Čolović, owner of Bekament, who personally introduced the company. His presentation covered not only the products themselves but also the company’s history, operations, and future direction.
The training was further enriched by the participation of Ľubomír Domiňák and Timon Rossa from PPG, as well as Arnaud Papma from Anza, who shared valuable insights into current industry trends and developments.
Also present was Pavel Žatečka, Executive Director of the Czech Guild of Painters and Decorators, who has long supported the development of the painting trade in the Czech Republic.
The evening was dedicated to informal networking and entertainment. The atmosphere was enhanced by dancers from Liptovský Mikuláš performing a mix of Latin and modern dance routines. Guests also enjoyed a fun casino experience, while the evening concluded with stand-up comedian Gabo Žifčák, who entertained the audience with his unique humor and a light-hearted introduction to the “mysteries of the Church of Spirits.”
